This Pho place is amazing! I grew up in Washington and moving here it was hard to find a pho place like back home. It's way better than back home though I found this place thru Tik Tok! The customer service is amazing and fast!

A+ solid 5 star authentic real pho! Parking in the back was full and there was one parking on the street. Inside, there was about 20 people waiting and people kept coming in. No wonder parking was as full haha. However Pho 87 team worked diligently and helped line move ASAP! I ordered Pho Bo Vien (beef meatball pho) I never order beef meatball but I read a review that they are home made. Ordered large size and I was expecting to order extra noodle but oh no. I eat a lot compared to most people. I finished everything including the soup! Broth was amazing so gentle and clean broth. They have chicken pho broth as well if you order chicken pho. Noodle was perfectly cooked and meat portion was plenty. I am full and feeling wonderful Friendly staffs and I see why they are so popular! They have been in business for 36 years! wow!

This pho joint is the real deal. The service is what you'd expect at an authentic pho restaurant, and the pho is legit. Parking: there is free parking in their private lot in the back. However, expect it to be full. If you aren't lucky, you can find metered street parking. There is also a $5 structure the next block over. Pho is good. Regular size is $15 and $17 for large. Rice - I was surprised/disappointed that they didn't have broken rice. They serve steamed white rice. Vietnamese coffee was just ok. Thai iced tea was good. Spring rolls and egg rolls were good. There's only one restroom in the back. Also they have a small pond inside, so kids can enjoy themselves here.

Came here for lunch and was lucky enough to park right outside. Someone left the meter full enough for me to go in without having to pay for it. Even thought they were busy they sat me down quick and waited on me quickly without rushing. The charbroiled pork pho was amazing and I scarfed it down in about 10 minutes. Love the inside of the restaurant too.

since moving to la from philly i have been searching for a pho place, not just any pho place but my pho place. pho 87 is the closest i have gotten. i am a snob for pho broth -- as a 5ft tall girl i get the LARGE size just so i can drink all the broth -- it's gotta be rich and deep in flavor. this places does well! i got the fatty & lean brisket pho (#10) and regretted that combo -- the fatty brisket was too fatty for me. what was i thinking. lean only next time only star docked because the ambiance is mid, way too loud and kinda grimy feeling. the bathroom gives me the ick. also, parking in chinatown is insanely expensive, $4 per hour?? like that's more than santa monica, who are you trying to be, chinatown??? but let's not get political here, the pho is a+

The best pho in LA! The broth was delicious and not too salty or sour, the noodles were firm, and the meatballs tasted home made. The coffee was really strong but tasty. The service was on point. My party of 3 waited about 5 minutes for a table at around 1pm right before the lunch rush. The food was served quickly and the servers checked on us frequently even though it was super busy. I really liked the customer service and the large seating area. I'll be back next time I'm in Chinatown.

Arrived with a warm welcome. Was greeted by the fountain at the front & received the best seat in the house... the space is very popular, many regulars who happily visit this great spot. As for my first time... sensational. My bowl says it all, my friends & fam are vegetarian to which they were very very satisfied. The Coffee at the end was the perfect touch as we were leaving. This is a great place to bring your loved ones.

A solid, respectable pho restaurant that definitely doesn't look the part outside, but you'll know you're in the right place for some of the tastiest pho in town when you're inside. Parking is either in the small back lot, or on the streets where there are plentiful spots for it. It's fairly spacious with lots of tables inside. Service is quick and attentive, and from ordering to getting your food is quick as well. The pho is a standout here. You get a decent side dish of bean sprouts, Thai basils, a couple sliced fresh jalapenos, and a big, juicy lime to squeeze over your pho. The broth is rich and full of meaty depth, and it doesn't hit you with a wall of MSG overload like some other pho broths do. If you get the super combination pho like I did, there's a good amount of raw sliced beef, beef tendon, and beef tripe to go with the generous noodle portion. Overall, it's a comfort food done right without frills or pretentiousness. It's worth visiting again, and worth trying out all the other dishes offered.

After attending the funeral of my late great aunt, the cousins and I ended up here for lunch since it was on the way to the burial site. We were also running behind schedule, so we chose a place that serves food quickly. Pho 87 is along Broadway, on the north end of Chinatown. There is off-street parking on the premises, but spaces are limited and tight. If the lot is full, there are paid meters on the surrounding streets and free spaces near the residential areas. There were a good amount of customers, almost every table was occupied. We were seated promptly and the food was served five minutes after ordering. I had a nice hearty bowl of pho tai (rice noodle soup with rare beef). The noodles were just a bit clumpy, with some of the strands inseparable after swishing it around a couple of times. Temperature of the broth was high and the flavor was aromatic. The beef was tender and easy to chew. Cousin ordered a Thai tea and said it was pretty good. We were in and out within thirty minutes and made it to our destination with time to spare. I'm open to visiting again. Hopefully on a happier occasion.
